The Lone Butte Fire Department was founded in in 1981; its fire hall remains as the last existing log hall in British Columbia. The property contains a fairly extensive training ground out back, allowing for smoke and fire training, as well as auto extracation practices. Also in the back of the hall is a large, underground tank at which the trucks may use as a water resovior.
Our future development involves the addition of a new building behind the current hall which would house more aparatus such as a fast attack truck and/or large pumper.
