-100 Mile Training Center Opening |

Today was the official opening of the 100 Mile House Fire Training Center, entitled:
'Combustion Zone'
The event included speeches from the mayor, CRD represenatives, as well as members of the 100 Mile Fire Department. Following the tours and the presentation, the new structures were put to use in a live demonstration.

Three firefighters were recently awarded pins from the Cariboo Regional District as thanks to many years of service:
Gerry Mcnally: 5 years
Erica Reti: 5 years
Laszlo Reti: 10 years

Brady Johnston and Brian Shorsky have completed their training for Fire Fighter Level 2; Being the second and third (in no particular order) to do so in all the Cariboo area, they add inspiration and are a great asset for the fire department!
